Meryl Streep Print New Records

Again expertise Meryl Streep in acting recognition, this veteran actress got an Oscar nomination in the category Best Actress for her role in JULIE & JULIA. And this nomination was the 16th time, a new record in the acquisition of Academy Award nominations.

Obtaining nominations now reached beyond the two senior Streep, who previously was at record high levels, ie, Katharine Hepburn and Jack Nicholson (each 12 nominations). Although Hepburn winning with a four-trophy and Nicholson two Best Actor trophy and a best-supporting. Streep was just getting a trophy and a Best Actress Best Supporting trophy.

Sweet Fruit Gabourey Acting Debut

Gabourey “Gabby” Sidibe (pronounced deh-sih-bay), was born on March 6, 1983, is an actress with a big body who started her acting debut in 2009 and then in the film PRECIOUS: BASED ON THE NOVEL ‘PUSH’ BY SAPPHIRE. Gabby was born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in Harlem area. Gabby is the youngest of two brothers. He was raised by her mother in Bedford Stuyvesant.

Her mother, Alice Tan Ridley, is a singer of gospel and R & B on the subway. His father, Gabby Ibnou is a Senegalese-born taxi driver. Gabby’s parents had long since split up. He attended the local institutions in New York, among them, Borough of Manhattan Community College, City College of New York, and Mercy College. In 2007, he took college majoring in psychology at Mercy College.

Great body does not loosen Gabourey Sidibe zest for life that bubbled from within his soul. As a teenager he hung out outside the MTV TRL studio with his good friend, Crystal, to peek N’Sync, or Mariah Carey singing in front of his school friends for pennies on the recession. (more…)
